Recipe for Success? The 3 E’s Kasia Jop, a certified medical cosmetologist, beauty expert, and businesswoman, was honored last month with an award in the international edition of the International Businesswoman Awards, presented by the editorial team of Businesswoman & Life magazine to outstanding figures in the business world. Who is Kasia Jop, and what is her recipe for success?
Kasia Jop is a Polish entrepreneur who emigrated to Zurich 15 years ago. After completing further studies, she opened her own aesthetic medicine salon, Comfort Zone, a few years later. Her vision was to create a unique space where women could not only improve imperfections in their appearance or undergo professional beauty treatments but also feel relaxed, open, and discover their personal comfort zone. Over the years, she has helped thousands of women build self-confidence by offering tailored therapies and significantly influencing their mindset and spiritual growth. Why? Kasia Jop, as a certified cosmetologist, follows the principle of mindfulness in both her work and personal life. Mindfulness, a broad concept increasingly applied to various areas of life, can be described as the natural human ability to be fully present and aware of where we are and what we are doing. When combined with the idea of balanced beauty, it reveals that true beauty is not only about appearance but also about everything within us that defines who we are: self-esteem, self-awareness, and a balanced approach to life. In one of her interviews, Kasia Jop shared:
"The mirror doesn’t tell the full truth. Cosmetics and beauty treatments are only half the equation. True beauty lies in the ability to look deeper within ourselves. It’s about understanding that life isn’t about chasing happiness but pursuing a purpose. Achieving a goal brings true happiness. While this difference may seem subtle to some, it’s a completely different mindset. A mirror reflects the person looking into it. How we see ourselves in it is deeply rooted in our consciousness. It’s about setting ambitious goals, taking care of ourselves, and nurturing what truly matters. It’s not just about what you eat or how you take care of yourself physically; equally important is how you treat yourself emotionally. Are you kind to yourself? Do you care for your mental well-being? My mission is to help women feel comfortable in their own skin—that’s the idea behind Comfort Zone.” For over a decade, Kasia Jop has been advising women on what to change and what might not need changing at all. She helps eliminate imperfections of the skin—and the spirit. She customizes treatments and therapies to individual needs while also learning the secrets and struggles of her patients. When asked about her recipe for success, she jokingly replied that it would probably be 3 E’s: Education – to approach her work professionally and know what she’s doing, the "know-how." Empathy – to understand the needs of others, not only her patients but also her staff and people in general. Effectiveness – often confused with showiness, but she focuses on long-term results rather than flashy, short-lived actions. The competition jury recognized her success and awarded her for her innovative approach to business. Congratulations! www.comfortzonezurich.ch
