Despite being one of the world’s most successful families, the British royal family also has a lot to learn.  And it turns out they’re working up to a rigid set of guidelines to make sure they look their best. As we will never dream about using many of their laws in our everyday lives, these rules set them apart from the rest of us. That’s what makes this one-of-a-kind and fascinating royal family.

1. Before Christmas meal, they weigh themselves.

This is King Edward VII’s old tradition of making sure that all the visitors are well-fed. When the guests weigh themselves again after dinner, the concept is that you are heavier after the meal. Though it stopped at the beginning of the 20th century, according to some sources, the Christmas tradition is still preserved today.
